2007 Park Cleanup

On March 24, 2007, Keep America Beautiful and park personnel teamed up for a Park Spring clean-up.  The AmeriCorps team led volunteers along Panther Creek and various trails throughout the park.  It was a huge success and everyone had a great time.  It's truly amazing the amount of glass/plastic bottles and cigarette butts discarded into the creek and on the trails.  If you're ever out for a hike and find yourself picking trash up (as we always do), stop by the Park office and fill out a volunteer form - because you've just volunteered and that time can be tallied on to the Park's volunteer hours sheets.
